Синопсис:
Maetel покинула свою мать и свою родную планету, обреченную и замерзающую La Metal, где люди должны становиться киборгами, чтобы выжить. Когда её просят вернуться, перед ней встает выбор: следовать за матерью (и превратиться в робота, презирающего людей) или убежать и бороться с людьми против машин. Но она не одна. Если она примет дружбу роботов, желающих мира, и будет сопротивляться тем, кто думает, что плоти и крови достаточно, чтобы называться человеком, то у нее еще есть шанс найти свой путь.
