Hiro Hamada is the protagonist of Disney's 2014 animated feature film Big Hero 6. He is a fourteen-year-old robotics prodigy living in San Fransokyo under the care of his aunt and older brother Tadashi. After Tadashi's sudden death at the hands of a kabuki-masked villain, Hiro—with support from his healthcare companion, Baymax—became the founder and leader of Big Hero 6. Hiro was created by Scott Lobdell and Gus Vazquez.
