Человек хладнокровный, со сложным и замкнутым характером. Готов пойти на всё ради спасения любимого человека. По версии Drama CD очень переживает по поводу отношения к нему отца и беспокоится о сестре, периодически срывается по этому поводу, но никому, кроме Шалтиэра и Мариан, этого не показывает.
При локализации имя было изменено с оригинального "Lion" на "Leon" во избежание путаницы с чтением, однако по версии создателей персонажа имя пишется через "I".
