In 796 UC, Magdalena was caught up in an assassination attempt on Kaiser Friedrich IV at the estate of Duke Otto von Braunschweig during his daugghter Elizabeth von Goldenbaum's birthday party, when exiled-nobleman Marquis Klopstock bombed the estate. Fortunately, Magdalena was unharmed in the attack.
