The other week I got a PlayStation Vita and I've been meaning to right a review of sorts well here it is. (I'm going to split this into two separate reviews one on the device and one on the games)
The Vita itself is a nice device has a similar weight and thickness to a second model PSP but is overall slightly bigger. The highlight of the unit is the screen witch is nice and bright and clear the touch functions actually seem more sensitive then on apple devices. The buttons are OK at first I didn't like them however I've now gotten used to them and they seem fine, they feel very "clicky" wich I'm not to crazy about.
The only thing I really dislike about the device is the interface It feels as though you unnecessarily have to open up multiple apps to do simple things. The worst however is getting files on and off the device. To do this you need to install a program onto your computer and then to get files on and off you must do it from the Vita it'self witch the interface is a bit unintuitive.
Size comparison
The memory cards are absolutely tiny as well here is a shinki holding one for comparison.
The games unfortunately do not include manuals however digital versions are accessible from a games "page" witch also includes other "useful" information, such as trophie updates.
The Vita plays music as well witch isn't that exciting of a feature however, you can listen to music while playing games with is a nice touch.
Also the Vita lets you take your own screenshots and all of the screenshots I have posted are my own.
