A new Steins;Gate game is coming out soon It's not exactly what you'd be expecting.
That's right I'ts going to be done 8bit style! The new Steins;Gate game will play similar to classic text adventure games requiring you to input commands such as "move north" "open door" or as one screenshot shows "look can" as opposed to being a visual novel.
The games story will be a side story and not a sequel or remake. It will be sold as a deluxe set including a soundtrack and a "Special booklet" for 4800 yen.

As a classic gaming fan I find this really neat! But unfortunately these types of adventure games frustrate me not to mention my poor understanding of Japanese I think I'll pass.
