Banpresto Menace Review

Banpresto Menace Review
14 ноя 2010 03:01:27

Sorry for this weeks review for being a bit late I've been going in and out of a writing mood this week and only just got around to writing this review. Anyways this weeks review is of Menace from Queen's Blade she is one of the main villains of the series. This particular figure is part of Banpresto's beach themed Queen's Blade figures.

Packaging 5/10
She comes in a simple box the art is fairly attractive. However the way the figure was packed wasn't so nice She comes wrapped in bubble rap witch itself was tightly wrapped with cardboard. It seems to have kept the figure safe but was a bit visually jarring.

Sculpting 7/10
Menace is sculpted in relaxed stretching pose she looks as if was about to take a swim. There is a decent level of detailing here. But the main problem with the sculpt are rather visible molding lines along her sides. (It's more obvious in person than in the pictures.)

Paint 6/10
Much like the sculpting the paint is good but not great. Overall the pant is fairly clean her face is especially well done. The big problem with the paint is that they have used an orangish color to highlight her physique however it looks overdone detracts from her overall appearance.

Accessories N/A
The only thing she comes with that could be considered an accessory is the base witch is the stranded style that Banpresto uses for figures of this size. It's very plain but serves its purpose.

Price 8/10
Her original price was ¥1450 witch is pretty good for a figure of this size, however she is sold out at most places and sells for a bit more then that on the after market I would avoid paying too much for her.

Overall 6/10
Menace is an OK figure She is definitely a you get what you pay for type of deal. But she probably looks better with the other figures of this series them on her own.
