'Sup, everyone! The Figma Blog recently updated with two new Figmas. The first would be one that by all logical means shouldn't exist: Kamen Rider Dragon Knight!

Kamen Riders? In MY non-Bandai toyline!?
"But wait," I hear you say, "How can this be? Bandai is the sole owner of the Kamen Rider license!" Well, to put it bluntly, it's a loophole. Bandai owns the license to the Japanese Kamen Rider franchise. However, there was an Americanization (similar to Super Sentai/Power Rangers) of Kamen Rider Ryuki called Kamen Rider Dragon Knight, which technically counts as a separate franchise. So by snagging that license, Max Factory is effectively able to make Figmas of the Riders from Kamen Rider Ryuki, so long as they use the American names of the Riders (i.e., Dragon Knight instead of Ryuki, etc.).

To make things even stranger, Amiami and Otacute are listing this as a Medicom x Max Factory collaboration. This could just be a typo, but MF is also numbering Dragon Knight as SP-16, which could be a reference to its collaboration status (since it's unlikely that it comes with a DVD).

Despite its paradoxical nature, the figure itself is looking very nice. Max Factory is making up for the lack of die-cast parts by including a lot more accessories than the average Figuarts does. Preorders forRyuki Dragon Knight opened yesterday.

Not a Kamen Rider fan? Could I interest you in a loli? Perhaps a loli with no pants?

JAPAAAAAAAAN
Yes, Yoshika Miyafuji from the rather ridiculous anime Strike Witches makes her Figma debut.

As you can see, she comes with both normal legs and her slightly goofy-looking Striker Unit.

Snakes on a Plane is small time compared to Planes on a Loli.
Her Striker Unit even comes with alternate blades to give the appearance of spinning propellers.

There's also these... rather questionable hands, as well as a face with uses ranging from sleepy to let's-not-go-there.

I'm not sure what's the strangest aspect of this - the dog ears and tail, the plane-legs, the machine gun, or the fact that she's flying around shootin' stuff without any pants on.
But one of the strangest accessories would be this alternate lower body, which abandons hip joints in favor of a seamless, lovingly-sculpted bottom.

"FOR THE PANTSLESS!"
Figma Yoshika will set you back 3,500 yen, and preorders will open on Saturday the 28th.
Also, on a Figma-related tangent, Figma Black*Rock Shooter is now shipping from most major retailers. According to denizens of 2ch who've managed to get her a few days early, she comes with two Figma stands (one for her, one for the cannon), as well as a DVD of the OVA (the Nendoroid includes the DVD as well).
