Hey, everyone! I was recently promoted to official news writer of MyAnimeShelf, so I hope I can keep you guys informed with information on new releases, preorders, and anime!
Anyway, over the past two or three days, Bandai has been diligently working towards getting their September releases on shelves in Japan. This means that folks who preordered these items can expect to get a shipping notice very soon (if they haven't already). Today has yielded two S.H. Figuarts and a Robot Damashii release.
Note: In my articles, I'll be using the official stock images provided by the manufacturers for the most part. However, in some instances where a good-quality stock image can't be found, I'll be using images courtesy of Japanese reviewer .
This Figuarts is a release of Takeshi Hongo, the very first Kamen Rider, as he appeared in 2007's reboot movie Kamen Rider TheNEXT. There was previously a Figuarts of Ichigo based on his appearance in Kamen Rider TheFIRST (the first of the reboot movies), virtually identical to this one (the major difference being a bluer color-scheme). Thus, this feels more like an opportunity for people who missed the first version to grab one. Note that there's also a Figuarts of Ichigo as he appeared in the original show in development.

Kamen Rider G3, a main character of Kamen Rider Agito, is now available in his normal form as a Figuarts. Like the G3-X Figuarts released before it, this figure also comes with a number of delicious accessories.
On the mecha side of things, there's a new Robot Damashii series from another favorite cash-cow of Bandai's - Mobile Suit Gundam!
The mass-produced weapons of the One-Year War make their RD debut! Come to think of it, is it just me, or does it seem like Bandai's on a classic-Gundam spree, with things like the RX-78-2 (the original Gundam most people think of when they hear "Gundam") due out this fall?
If anyone's ordered one of these figures, you'll probably receive them soon!
