It seems like a quite a while now since I bought my chibi Gundam and Armored core kits and I only just recently got around to assembling them.
There are some positives and negatives that come with these sort of models but my love for mecha keeps me interested.
I decided to take some pictures while I made the Armored core chibi so here's the picspam:
White Glint Chibi~
Now I get most of my fun from just assembling these kits. There is also a sense of accomplishment when your little man is put together and looks great. There are some negatives to such kits though like the fact that they are quite fragile so you must handle them with care at all times. Also, most of the time, they don't look like the finished product that is shown on the boxes as you are required to paint in the fine details your self. I do paint but I don't have the patience to do such a task and therefore I get a pretty plain model when compared to this...
Armored core is just a fighting mecha game that I used to play and I have fallen in love with it's characters since playing it. It is Japanese and model kits on its characters have had a noticeable impact in the mecha category at times. I mean this picture is very epic indeed.
During nooby computing phase, many years in the past, I decided to have a go at editing my own "amv" sort of thing for Armored core. It was just whatever clips I could get on the game and I synced it with the audio from the 300 trailer...
OK that's enough of that.
I also have my two cute gundam chibi's that I bought. They come from a selection of over 200 different sets but I chose these two simply because they came with happy, smiling eyes.
