Black Rock Shooter is absolutely gorgeous. It's a universally recognized work of art, no doubt. I'll go further and say that my other figurines now look kinda crappy fading in its delight.

It's no wonder - Black Rock Shooter is a very neat and unusual thing. Everything is first-rate - the details, the pose.. and the sculpting...
Well, enough with praising. Besides, no figurine will bear close scrutiny. Wanna hear my reservations about B.R.S.?
1.
Her fringe. She has 2 fringe-parts (one normal and one with a blue flame which raises from her eye), but none of them fits perfectly. At least, I couldn't make it. In other words, the joints would be visible from some angles - especially if you look from above.
It's very likely to be the problem of mine particular figurine :(
2.
The blue flame is a part of a fringe and doesn't cover the eye completely (in fact it doesn't even touch the eye). Keeping this in mind you'd better not place her too high, if you don't want to see the dodgy scene.
To sum up, the best way to admire B.R.S. is to place it somewhere at the level of your eyes.
I took off her flame-eye and hurl the figurine to the upper shelf in the end.
BTW, her uber-cute realistic cannon is made of the lightest plastic, which was pretty unexpected. It is actually removable, and can be attached to the figurine with the chain. As to myself I wouldn't mind if the figurine was one-piece, because no one is probably going to display her without a cannon... and attaching it in a way instruction suggests is a real trial.

I'm trying to picture her without the cannon, or with it arranged in a different way. Kind of interesting to think about. Might actually not look too bad....

And yeah, the eye flame is unfortunate. But I display her without it, and it still looks fantastic :D
No one can escape the sin that flows in their veins

Btw, did it also take you about 20 minutes to get how the chain is supposed to be attached?
