What's been happening Shelfers it's Chiaki and I've got quite a lot to share in this post about what's happened during my time away from animeshelf.
DAISO Japan~
First up there was a new Japanese store called DAISO that opened near me. In it everything was $2.80. Products range from cosmetics, homewares, kitchenwares, stationary, toys etc etc. That's where I picked up a handy figure display case.
They had a variety of shapes and I chose the stair design because I liked the layers. NO more Dusting!
I made my way back to my closest anime and manga stores, Kinokuniya and Hobby Co. I thought I'd just give you a picspam about what's changed in Hobby Co's figure stock so enjoy~!
Hobby Co Picspam~
I recently watched Code Geass and C.C is my favourite female character from the anime.
Enough Gundam to last me a lifetime
This was such an amazing display of gashapon sets. I wanted to just take the whole shelf home for myself!
~An Awesome Diorama of BB gundams!~
I think this beautiful looking display was what convinced me to continue collecting chibi gundams.
I have this one!
I bought two BB gundams (Chibi), volumes 2-4 of Haruhi-chan, Diary of a wimpy kid volume6 (ha), Yotsuba volume 10 (very good) and finally two teach yourself language books (Chinese and Japanese). I'm asian yet I can only speak English so I thought that I would try my hand at Chinese mandarin as well as Japanese. Wish me luck~
Finally I was supa-excited to find Konata's favourite food, the choco cornet. It was an asian bread shop located in Sydney city called Breadtop and they only cost $1.90 a pop!
It was delicious however I think it has too much chocolate for my liking. It's like drinking a full cup of melted chocolate... BLEH
But now I can cross that off my list! Next up is melon bread that Shana loves to eat from Shakugan no Shana.
I'm always on the lookout for some nice cosplaying and it's even better if it's from local anime expo events. This cute(In my opinion, yours may differ) Mami cosplay was taken at Supernova in Sydney 2011.
