That song started playing in my head when I read today's headlines.
...
I can't say I am a crazy fan of LP. But I went to a few of their live shows and they were amazing. And I have figures of the band members on display. And I listened to their music since I was a teen. Well, I'm pretty sure everyone of my generation (and a couple of younger ones) did... I wrote reviews on their albums and I was so happy to see them grow and try new themes and new styles...

I was so terribly sad to learn of Chester's death. I don't know much about him as a person, but he was so talented... And his depature does not just end a story of one band (I doubt Shinoda and others will replace him and go on with LP). It's and end of an era. A good, bold, hopeful one.
