The Four Beasts (四聖獣 Shiseijū?) are four demons who rule a part of the Underworld called Demon City and the antagonists for Yusuke's third case. The beasts share their names with the four symbols of Chinese astrology. In the anime adaptation they are known as the Saint Beasts.

Suzaku (朱雀?) - The leader of the Four Beasts. A demon who uses lightning to attack, he is able to split himself into seven separate, yet equally powerful bodies, and can endlessly regenerate his power by reabsorbing the copies. He is voiced by Nobuo Tobita in the Japanese version and Jerry Jewell in the English dub.
