Black☆Star.
This arrogant and bragging ninja is a meister AND an assassin. His partner, Tsubaki, is on the contrary very shy and quiet. Together, they are a golden pai, maybe the strongest in Shubusen.
Black☆Star is pictured attacking, launching Tsubaki who assumed the shape of a giant shuriken. This diorama is inspired from the first fight between Mifune in the second episode of the show. That’s why the base shows a dozen of swords stuck in it.
Following Maka’s Faith, Black☆Star counter-strikes is the second Soul Eater statue to enter our HQS by Tsume range.

Technical details:
Slightly crouched and bent, Black☆Star is holding Tsubaki in Shuriken mode with his right hand. His pose is dynamic, in motion and the vivid colors used express the mood of the character, always full of energy. His face displays his will to make his opponent regret for having under-estimated him.
Paint wise, subtle gradients emphasizes the impressive muscles of an assassin who trains himself every day. The different textures (gloss, mat, metallic…) highlight each part of his outfit.

Background.
Black☆Star is fighting Mifune on a stoned floor and his opponent throws on him a « rain of swords » which will be used during the fight. In order to try and beat Mifune, Black☆Star commands Tsubaki to change in shuriken mode.

Technical details:
Black☆Star is surrounded by ten katana swords, meticulously sculpted and painted. These swords engage the base for a great visual result. The floor is with a stone tiling effect and Tsubaki, in the shape of a giant shuriken, is very finely sculpted and painted.
To achieve Black☆Star motion, a cloud of dust has been made in translucent resin slightly painted. The final result is stunning and even the most demanding fans of Soul Eater should like it.

Technical details:
As we did with Maka’s Faith, the gray & mate base displays the typical colored band of our HQS by Tsume range. White and blue, the glossy stripe on the base is really highlighting the statue and the nameplate, which of course has a metallic effect and the symbol of Soul Eater.
