Taiga Love!! XD
Hopefully I'll have this waiting for me when I get to my new home. She'll be going in front of my Toradora! DVD's when the US release comes out since my light novel/manga section is pretty full already. ^_^

На вскрытие! Aisaka Taiga Miss Con ver. от Wave

Yay, congratulations! :) Have you managed to PO her from on-line shop or something?
Please, forgive me, but in my opinion her additional faces look a bit... creepy? Though I still haven't watched the anime, so maybe I just couldn't get the point of it.

Yeah, I ordered her online. From the page on the site, it looks like they actually have her in stock right now. Hopefully I got her. If not, I'll just have to use ebay as a back-up.
Oh, and about the alternate faces, I actually like the other two more than the default happy face. They reflect her character a lot better, especially during this particular part of the series. So yeah, it might come of as creepy partly because you haven't watched the series (why haven't you??), or it could just be a stylistic issue.
It's easy. I'd heard it's excellent series and bought the light novel back in Japan, but couldn't find time to read it so far. Though I really want to, so I'll resist the desire to watch TV-version.

Ah, I was wondering if that was the reason. I remembered you saying you were reading them before. Personally I'd actually recommend watching the anime first. After seeing the first two episodes of the series I started reading the fan translations and finished the first three books. But then I stopped because I passed where I was in the anime and I ended up complaining to myself and feeling disappointed whenever the anime left out or changed something from the novel version that I read. It was really hurting my enjoyment of the show. (I call it Harry Potter Syndrome) =P
So yeah, I'd say go ahead and watch the anime and then read the books when you get the time. From my experience with the Suzumiya Haruhi series and the first Toradora book, watching the anime first really didn't hurt my experience reading the novels at all. I loved reading the stories I already watched the anime versions of. There's enough of a difference and a bunch of extra little details that make it worthwhile. Also, in the case of Toradora, the two version have different endings since the anime was finished before book 10, the final one in the series, was released so the ending won't even be ruined by the anime! But this is just a humble suggestion. You don't have to follow my advice if you don't want to. ^_^"

Congrats! I was considering buying her too, but wallet, wallet... Make sure to post a review!
I'm too old for this shit, ain't I?
Of course! I'm sure I'll do a review with lots of pictures eventually. Hopefully my new house mates will have a good digital camera I can use. If not it might take a little while longer until after I buy a new camera of my own. =P
