If I were you I would buy it! I liked her immediately, her pose and base IMHO are very attractive!
In fact I like her much more then Rei and Asuka... But with my collector's fad I may not buy her just because I don't have 2 others, and have no intention on buying them^^

It was the crappiest camrip I've ever seen, no doubt! BUT! I still was sitting open-mouthed, bordering to tears.
Not because of drama-drama-drama. Because of music and visual imagery of the movie. The battle with Sandalphon, Angel from orbit was like OH MY FUCKING GOD!!! (sorry for expletives)

Personally I don't like Mari as a character, and both of her plug suit designs are really bad in my opinion.
So I would say, no don't get her but I'm rather bias :P

Yaa, I feel kinda the same. I probably wouldn't have even noticed this figurine if it hadn't been from the set. But I already have two girls and the third one was sculpted in a way to fit perfectly between them. Ah! I ended up preordering her at last!
