Kazura is a teleporter. He always tends to be a bit reluctant to use his powers, since he only feels like using them when it's really necessary, unless Aoi persuades him. His ability does have a few limits; he is not able to freely teleport wherever he wants, if his mind can't vision it right.

He has very strict manners and a conservative personality, showing he was born in a family of solely military officers. It also shows he has a great sense of pride, which often brings him into conflicts with Aoi.

After graduating with honors from the Military Academy, he decides against the will of his family to not join the army.

In his childhood he was friend of Nishio, a communist activist who eventually became a member of the Chinese Comintern.
