Hildesheim was a citizen of the Galactic Empire and an officer in the Imperial Fleet. He held the noble title of Count.
History
History
Count sided with the Lippstadt Alliance in the Imperial Civil War of 797 UC. He served directly under admiral Staden during the Battle of Altena, where he was given command of half Staaden's fleet, and orders to circle around the minefield enemy admiral Wolfgang Mittermeyer had placed in the Altena Starzone in order to attack the Mittermeyer Fleet from behind.
Mittermeyer predicted Staden's plans, and launched a successful suprise attack on Hildesheim's flanks. Hildesheim was killed when a missile scored a direct hit on his flagship, destroying it instantly.
