I'm sorry I haven't posted in a wile again. But there have been two recent development that I felt like posting about.
The first is that I have recently adjusted the settings on my light source for when I take figure photos. It gives them a slightly brighter and crisper look. Here are a few examples with this setting.
Here is a comparison, on the left is the older settings and on the right is the newer settings.
Also I have continued to experiment with light in my photos. Which is always fun to do.
The other recent development is that I have really gotten into the Disgaea games again. For a while I was completely uninterested in grindy RPGs but I was in the mood to try one out again. I've bought Disgaea D2 and have become super addicted to it, I just beat it the other day! (this is actually the first time i've competed a Nippon Ichi RPG!)
Something I've never noticed about these games Is how manny references these are to Japanese superheroes (aside from the totally obvious Prism Rangers) Flonne in particular seems obsessed with them, and I'd love to have a figure of Flonne's Pretty Cure styled "pure" form.
My addiction to this game inspired me to take pictures of my Etna figure, who I've sadly never taken nice pictures of. This Etna figure Is one of my favorites (If I had to choose a favorite figure I'd choose her) She is very nostalgic as She was one of the first nicer anime figures I ever bought! I was in High school then and super into Nippon Ichi's games at the time so I really loved this figure back then. I distinctly member a friend who was jealous of me having her saying "When you get tiered of these games I'll take her off your hands." Well I got tierd of the games but my love of the characters and this figure remained!
