Merry Christmas, y'all. 
On Tuesday, my latest addition to my collection of Busou Shinki figures arrived in the mail.
Unlike most Busou Shikni figures, which I buy after they've been out for a while (mostly due to me not being interested in them until I see fan art of them), Vervietta was one that I decided to pre-order this time around, as she definitely had the "kawaii" look that I like (there's something about cute looks and purple hair that attracts me).
As usual, I've did a couple of pictures of Vervietta posing.
As for her armor, well that's a different story. Personally, this is another Busou Shinki figure where I preferred the character without the armor, and while I did have plans to have her wear a minimal amount of it, it became apparent to me that it wouldn't work. Hence, like Artille, I don't have Vervietta sporting any armor when I display her in my cabinet. However, that doesn't mean I'm not using the armor at all. Rather, the pieces that make up Vervietta can be combined together to make the Vic Viper, the space fighter from the Gradius video games. Given my recent interest in Konami shooters in recent years (getting various shooter compilations for the PSP; Otomedius coming out from the Xbox 360), I decided to construct the Vic Viper out of the armor pieces, and it ended up turning out rather well, if I say so.
I'm expecting another figure (not Busou Shinki) to arrive at my house on either Tuesday or Wednesday. To tide things over until then, here's one more picture of Vervietta, this time with her sitting alongside the Vic Viper.
