Well, yesterday was a very, very slow news day. But now I'm glad that I waited 'til today to see if anything notable would crop up, as it most definitely did.

Impending_Sky already said pretty much all there is to say about Nendoroid Panty. But there's one interesting tidbit at the bottom of that article...
An "alternate method of preordering," huh? My guess is that it'll be via some US-based distributor (like how Kotobukiya's made a deal to distribute their Mega Man kits in the US), or perhaps the rumored GSC webshop. I guess we'll find out tomorrow!
I can't help but feel that something's missing...
GSC also opened a veritable flood of preorders on the usual sites last night, starting with Nendoroid Lynette Bishop of Strike Witches. With a Figma on the way as well, this seems like quite a good time to be a Lynette fan.
I wouldn't think too hard about why she's wearing a swimsuit under a Santa outfit if I were you.
Max Factory is also joining in the fun with their third figure from moe juggernaut K-On. Yui Hirasawa is effectively two figures in one - you can cast off her Santa outfit to reveal a school swimsuit underneath! Of course, that raises quite a few questions in itself...
They really did give us Miku Miku...
GSC also opened double-Miku-preorders. In addition to the new, MikuMikuDance-styled Lat. ver., they're also reissuing 2009's Miku PVC! Both are shipping in August (probably October, knowing GSC), and are about 4000-5000Y each depending on the store.
Anyway, are any of you interested in one of these items? Sound off below!
