How do you deal with figurines boxes, guys?

As to me, I don't have that many figurines, so I used to keep the boxes stacked in a corner of the corridor. Today I forced myself to do some cleaning and decided to get rid of them, cause they were confusing my guests and so on. But then I started to think about the future. I suppose I'll have to change my dwelling at least ones. So, I didn't dare to throw out the boxes and got rid of other 'precious' things in order to clear out some space on the balcony.

Yeaaah, dodgy view, I agree.
I'm jealous of folks who live in hot countries and can use their balconies for sun-bathes, not as 'warehouse'.

Yeah, I just throw out all of my boxes. Especially since most of my figures were bought while I lived in a small military dorm room. XP

I tend to keep all of mine stacked in the closet, I don't throw them away in case I need to move.

I keep all of my boxes. I'm totally paranoid about keeping them I even have a closet dedicated for them!
Here's my main stack of boxes.
And my figma boxes.

Wow! I envy you, and hope someday I'll have something like this too.
I think boxes are collectors issues also, so they are worth keeping. Not to mention that someday you may want to sell them. Things happen^__^

Wow! Nice closet. Mine is loaded with other stuff, mostly hard-ware.
The second thought that came to my wind was: when it is full, Mu won't buy figurines anymore... XD

I keep all packaging from my figures. I don't have too many, so I just keep them in the bottom drawer of my dresser. If I ever buy too many figures to fit in there (and move to a bigger place), I'll probably just stack them into a convenient table and throw a sheet over it...Or I'll just throw out everything in my closet and keep them there.
Boxes are very important for resale. I:

Одно время я их (коробки) оставлял, но потом понял, что либо они, либо я. Превращать одну из комнат или балкон в склад мне как-то совсем не хотелось, так что пришлось, хоть и с великим сожалением, выбросить их. Сейчас оставляю только те коробки от которых невозможно избавиться (конкретно для MMS-фигурок от Конами, там слишком много запчастей, которые лучше всего хранить именно в них).
А насчет переезда - при должной осторожности и внимании фигурки могут пережить переезд и уложеные в обычные коробки. Сейчас проверяю эту теорию на себе, по результатам первичного осмотра - все в порядке.
Тем более, представь, как ты ВСЮ ЭТУ КУЧУ будешь перевозить. А ведь будет и масса других вещей!

Ну, я же не одна буду всю эту кучу перевозить :) И наверное, не за 1 раз... Но согласна, разумное зерно в твоих рассуждениях невозможно отрицать. На самом деле, очень интересно посмотреть, как ты их складывал. Заворачивал в пупырчатую пленку? pluvia33, кстати, тоже переезжает.

Таки даже и нет. Просто упаковывал в пакеты. Правда все съемные детали снимал и упаковывал отдельно. А потом аккуратно складывал в коробки, так чтобы фигурки лежали плотно, но не слишком сжато. Но так только с ПВХ фигурками сделал - они всеж-таки не слишком хрупкие, сборно-крашеные из эпоскидки и пластмассовые модели упаковывал так, чтобы лежали свободно и носил их сам.
Правда основную коллекцию я не перевозил, вынес на балкон и все. Но думаю, если лично их (коробки с фигурками) носить, то тоже ничего не должно пострадать. Главное на коробки не давить и сильно не трясти.
В результате вся моя колллекция заняла примерно 3-4 средних коробки из HLJ.

Хмм... Страшно, конечно, за фигурки, но представить могу. В принципе да, при должной аккуратности все будет ок. Но если такая коробка грохнется - ох, лучше и не представлять.

Эхх, так много фигурок-коробок =)
Ну хоть один плюс в малом кол-ве фигурок - абсолютно не занимают места =)

Sooo, it's a great problem you pointed out here.
I've got a small room, but I want my figures to be as mint as possible, so I try not to get rid of the boxes.
I mean it, I try, not always successfully. I really envy of mu-san to have space to arrenge a special closet. I hope someday I'll have something like this too.
There are 2 reasons for me to keep boxes. First reason - I may want to sell part of my collection on a rainy day; second reason - I think a box is a collectors issue too.

I alvays keep scaled figures and nendos boxes (thanks god I don't have many). About figma boxes - some I keep, and some I flatten: I get rid of the inside plastic, and flatten the cardboard, then keep it in a plastic bag all together. Sort of a compromise.

I'm too old for this shit, ain't I?

I've finally got my salary^___^ it was a present from our boss to women of our company near the 8th of March^___^ I'm not joking. We're going through hard times now, so we're paid irregularly^^

So I'll think twice. But its likely that I will sell some, cause they don't make me as happy as scaled figures and figmas^__^

For me, to sell is not a problem at all.
I didn't think about figma Miku, KagaMiku and Miyuri after I sold them. No regrets^__^

hmm i keep my boxes for moving purpose and if someday i wanted to sell the figure,
some of the boxes still have the plastic for figure cover, though i don't really remember all of it :P
