My most wished for figure is mine!

It was only about 2 weeks ago that I posted a blog where I told myself that I would not buy any figures. It took me only one day to crack after I found blackmercury and his konata figure cosplay for sale. I messaged him about the shipping cost and he told me it would be ridiculous to ship from Russia all the way here to Australia.

Instead he kindly linked me one for sale on Mandarake and well that's where mine came from! Let me tell you that this figure was the very first figure on my wishlist and when I first found out about this I knew that I had to have it. Being a Wonder Festival exclusive from 2008 I knew it would be selling for high prices for a brand new one so I'm happy I could get my hands on a second hand one at close to a regular figma prices (3000 yen). Also the fact that there were only 5000 ever made adds to the value/awesomeness of this figure.

Well that was just to give you a little background information to my purchase so let's get on to some photos shall we? Please excuse the quality I'm not too good with lighting and other things to get nice photos.

I try not to use the official poses used on the boxes so I settled with the standard neko pose for now. It's cute.

Unlike my fraulein Yoko, Figma provides their own zip bags. I just use my own zip bags anyway but it's a nice touch.

Yea I'm very happy with my purchase. I've been a haruhi fan (haruhist, haru-fag, call me what you like) since I started watching anime and Lucky star was awesome.

The overall quality of the Figma is superior to the Fraulein revoltech. Almost everything is in Figma's favour. The stand is better, the joints are better, the feel is better etc etc. I'm finding it more easier to pose Konata than Yoko and switching of the faces and hands are not so much a hassle either.

Ok this Konata cosplay ver should keep me happy for a while. Thanks for reading and as a reward I'll leave you with the cutest Konata cosplay picture I could find!
